Decking can be useful for a holiday with a dog, but the decking filter does not promise a secure enclosure. Ask whether there is a gate, how high the sides are and whether there are gaps a smaller dog could get through. Confirm whether the outdoor space is shared.
Look at the park’s dog-walking facilities and ask where dogs are welcome. Beach access, seasonal restrictions and rules for shared spaces can differ from the caravan owner’s rules. Check current local information for the dates of your stay rather than assuming every nearby beach or venue allows dogs.
Compare the full cost of your stay
Ask whether there is a dog charge, whether it is per dog or per booking and whether it is included in the quoted total. Also confirm cleaning charges, a refundable damage deposit and what you need to bring. Compare like-for-like totals for the same dates and number of guests.
The weekly guide price is a starting point, not a quote for every stay. A short break, school holiday or extra dog may change the total. Agree the full amount and the owner’s terms before arranging payment.
Request your dates directly from the owner
