The Private hot tub filter describes a feature of the holiday home. It is separate from a swimming pool or spa listed among the holiday park’s facilities. A park with a spa does not necessarily provide a hot tub at your caravan.

Read the description and look at the owner’s photographs to understand where the tub sits, how you access it and whether the area is overlooked. Ask whether it is reserved for your caravan or shared, and confirm anything that is unclear in the advert.

Questions to ask about hot-tub use

Ask about the maximum number of users, permitted hours, age restrictions and supervision rules. The owner should explain how to use the tub, where to find instructions and who to contact if it stops working during your stay.

Confirm when the hot tub will be ready on arrival and whether cleaning, water changes or maintenance could affect access. Availability can be affected by servicing or a fault, so ask the owner what happens if the facility cannot be used.

Check the total holiday price

Ask whether hot-tub use is included or costs extra, and whether there are any additional deposits or conditions. Compare quotes for the same dates, guests and facilities. A low guide price may cover a different season or a different length of stay.
