Check what you can offer before advertising
Confirm your park’s letting conditions, opening season and any guest registration or pass arrangements. Check the requirements that apply to your caravan, insurance and circumstances before accepting paying guests. This guide is about preparing an advert and using the site, rather than a complete legal or tax checklist.
Decide which dates you want to let and which you will use yourself. Be clear about guest capacity, sleeping arrangements, dog allowance and facilities that will be available. An accurate advert is more useful than a long list of claims that guests cannot verify.
Create an advert that answers common questions
Use an accurate main photograph and describe the bedrooms, beds, bathroom, kitchen and living area. Mention heating, Wi-Fi, decking, a washing machine or other features that are genuinely provided. Put shared park facilities in the park section so guests can distinguish them from facilities at your caravan.
Give the park’s name, town and county or region, and explain practical points such as parking, steps, check-in and what guests need to bring. Keep descriptions in your own words and update them when anything changes. Avoid promising sea views, accessibility or included passes unless they apply to your particular stay.
Set prices and keep your calendar current
Decide your holiday prices, minimum stays, payment schedule and cancellation terms. Include any cleaning, dog or park-pass charges clearly in the quote. The weekly guide price on your advert is a starting point; confirm the full total for each enquiry.
In the owner dashboard, use Manage dates to select dates and mark them unavailable for agreed bookings or your own visits. Reopen dates when appropriate. A guest enquiry does not block the calendar automatically, so update it when a booking is agreed, including bookings received elsewhere.
An affordable place to list your caravan or lodge
List your first caravan or lodge for £59 per year or £10 per month. Each extra holiday home costs £10 per year or £1 per month on the same plan. You can manage a mix of caravans and lodges on one account. Each uses one listing space. No level of enquiries, bookings or rental income is guaranteed.
A valid launch code makes your first holiday home listing free for the first year on the annual plan. It renews at £59 per year unless cancelled, and extras remain £10 each per year from the start. The offer does not apply to monthly membership or to a guest’s holiday payment.
Handle booking enquiries directly
Guests select dates and send a request through your advert. Once they confirm their email, you can read the request in your dashboard and reply. Message notifications include a link back to the conversation, so you can keep questions and agreed details together.
You deal directly with the customer about availability, the full holiday price, payment and booking terms. Caravans To Hire does not take the holiday payment or automatically confirm a reservation. Confirm the final arrangements clearly before treating the dates as booked.
Caravan and lodge advertising questions
Can I advertise a lodge on Caravans To Hire?
Yes. Static caravans and holiday lodges on UK holiday parks can be listed with the same membership, availability calendar and messaging tools.
Can I list more than one holiday home?
Yes. List a mix of caravans and lodges on the same owner account. Each extra holiday home costs £10 per year or £1 per month on your selected plan. Your dashboard limits adverts to the allowance covered by your membership.
Can I list my caravan or lodge for free?
With a valid launch code, your first holiday home listing is free for the first year on the annual plan. Normal £59 annual renewal follows unless cancelled. Extra holiday homes still cost £10 each per year. The offer does not apply to monthly membership.
