AT A GLANCE
Owner membership includes one caravan or lodge for £59 per year or £10 per month. Extra holiday homes cost £10 per year or £1 per month on the same plan. Caravans To Hire provides listings and messaging only. Any caravan or lodge hire contract is between the guest and the owner. We do not arrange or provide the holiday.
1. About these terms
Caravans To Hire is a website for advertising privately owned caravans and lodges on holiday parks in the UK or Ireland. Both use the same membership and listing tools; each holiday home uses one listing space. These terms cover browsing the website, using an account and purchasing an owner advertising subscription. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the operator below.
- Business name
- Caravans To Hire
- Contact address
- Caravans To Hire
- Website hosted by
- Nexar Web Services
Read these terms before purchasing membership and keep a copy. The price, billing schedule and order confirmation form part of your membership agreement. These terms do not remove rights that the law gives you.
2. Our role: a listing platform only
Caravans To Hire is a caravan and lodge listing and messaging platform. Any caravan or lodge hire contract is made directly between the guest and the owner or accommodation provider named in the advert (the “owner”). We are not a party to that hire contract.
We provide adverts, owner-managed availability calendars and private messaging. We do not act as a letting agent or holiday provider, and we do not negotiate, arrange, confirm, manage or fulfil caravan or lodge hires on behalf of guests or owners.
The owner is responsible for the accommodation, the accuracy of their advert and calendar, their authority to let the holiday home, and the safety, insurance, licences and park permissions required for their hire service. Guests and owners must agree the hire terms directly.
Visitors can send booking requests and exchange private messages with the owner. Guests confirm their email before a new request reaches the owner. A request, advert or guide price is not a confirmed booking or offer of availability. Dates are not reserved automatically, and holiday payments are not collected through this messaging service. The owner must confirm the dates, total charges, deposits, cancellation conditions and park rules directly with the guest. We do not collect, hold or protect holiday payments or deposits, or provide holiday insurance or a booking guarantee. Fees paid to Caravans To Hire are for owner advertising membership, not for the holiday home hire.
Demonstration listings are fictional examples and cannot be booked. Promotional AI imagery is illustrative. Owners must use photographs and descriptions which accurately represent their own caravan or lodge.
3. Your owner account
You must be at least 18 and have authority to advertise the caravan or lodge. Provide accurate account information, keep your password private and contact us if someone may be using your account without permission. Do not share an account to advertise unrelated people’s holiday homes without authority.
You are responsible for obtaining park permission to let, any required licences, insurance and safety checks, and complying with rules that apply to your accommodation. Do not publish personal information about guests or other people without a proper reason and permission where required.
4. Membership, prices and renewal
- Annual owner membership: £59 per year, including one holiday home space. Extra holiday homes cost £10 each per year.
- Monthly owner membership: £10 per month, including one holiday home space. Extra holiday homes cost £1 each per month. Your membership and extras must use the same billing cycle.
- Memberships renew monthly or annually, according to the plan selected at checkout, until cancelled. The checkout and your account show the amount payable and the next payment date. Review the final total, including any applicable taxes, before ordering.
- New memberships use one package for the selected number of holiday homes. You can request a package change through your account. Checkout shows any switching charge and the next renewal terms before confirmation. Older separately purchased extras retain their existing billing schedules unless separately changed.
An eligible launch code discounts £59 from the first annual membership payment. The launch code does not apply to monthly membership. Additional holiday homes remain payable. Unless you cancel, your package renews at its full annual price after the discounted first year. Any offer expiry or eligibility conditions are shown with the offer.
Your spaces become available when your subscription and any required payment are active. Older separate extra subscriptions need a current base membership on the same billing cycle to provide listing allowance.
5. Holiday home spaces and adverts
Every saved caravan or lodge, including a draft, uses one space. You can edit an existing advert while your spaces are full. Deleting an advert frees its space. Imported demonstration listings are managed by the site administrator and do not use paid owner spaces.
Before downgrading to a smaller package, you must delete enough saved holiday homes to fit its limit. Drafts also count. Deleting adverts alone does not reduce your subscription or payments. If a membership payment fails, your listings go offline but remain available in your dashboard for editing, date management and existing messages. The dashboard shows Live or Not live and the payment or resubscription action where needed. Eligible previously published adverts return when payment and membership coverage are restored. If coverage changes for another reason, only adverts within the available allowance appear publicly; the oldest saved adverts use those spaces first.
Descriptions, prices, facilities and photographs must be accurate, lawful and kept up to date. No fraudulent adverts, impersonation, discriminatory or unlawful content, malware, spam or attempts to bypass account limits are allowed. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.
6. Membership cancellation and refunds
This section covers owner advertising membership only. Holiday cancellations and refunds must be arranged with the owner under the hire agreement and applicable law.
You can stop future renewal through My Account → Subscriptions, or contact us using the details above. Cancel the membership package you no longer need. If you hold an older base membership and separately billed extras, check and cancel each unwanted renewal entry; cancelling the base does not itself cancel those extras.
Stopping renewal normally leaves the current paid term in place until its end. Deleting an advert or ceasing to use the website does not cancel a subscription.
If you purchase as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from entering a service contract to cancel without giving a reason. Contact us with a clear cancellation request. Where you expressly requested an early start, a proportionate service charge may apply only where the law permits and the required information was given. Simply creating an account or uploading an advert does not waive your statutory rights.
We will provide refunds due under your statutory cancellation rights within the applicable legal time limit, normally 14 days after receiving the cancellation. Outside those rights, contact us about a refund; this policy does not promise an automatic pro-rata refund for unused advertising. Your rights where a service is faulty or not supplied remain unaffected.
Optional cancellation message
You may send: “To [the operator named above], I give notice that I cancel my Caravans To Hire membership for [subscription/order number], ordered on [date]. My name is [name], my address is [address], and my account email is [email]. Date: [date].” If sent on paper, add your signature. You do not have to use this wording.
7. Your content and our website
You retain ownership of content you upload. You give us permission to store, resize and display it as needed to provide and promote your advert through Caravans To Hire. This permission ends when the content is removed, apart from necessary backup, dispute or legal records. It does not transfer ownership of your photographs to us.
The Caravans To Hire branding, layout and website materials must not be copied or resold without permission, except where the law allows. You may share normal links to published adverts.
8. Caravan and lodge hires and our responsibility
We are not responsible for an owner’s acts or omissions, the condition, safety or availability of their caravan or lodge, or their performance of the hire agreement. Holiday payments, deposits, cancellations, refunds, damage claims and disputes must be addressed to the owner. We do not decide hire disputes or guarantee the owner’s performance. This does not exclude or limit responsibility for our own acts or omissions, or any duty or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Contact us to report an inaccurate advert, misuse, suspected fraud or a problem with your membership. Include the advert link and a short explanation. We may investigate, request corrections or temporarily restrict content or accounts where reasonably needed to protect users or enforce these terms. We will explain the reason where lawful and practical and allow you to raise a concern.
We aim to keep the service available, but maintenance and interruptions can occur. We do not guarantee a particular number of views, enquiries, bookings or advertising income. We remain responsible for providing our own service with reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected. The accommodation provider remains responsible for the holiday service they agree to supply.
9. Changes and complaints
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes to an existing paid membership will be explained before they take effect, with reasonable notice and any cancellation or refund rights required by law. A website update does not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
Send complaints to the contact above so we can investigate. These terms are subject to applicable UK law and do not prevent a consumer using the protections or courts available in their home jurisdiction. How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
